Default Roller price check..

Preferably a later 951 with LSD but I think an earlier 951 or even 944S or S2 would do, just want brembos and the turbo nose... (what can those S transmissions handle?)

951 prices seem to be getting silly, but how about rollers that need just about anything including paint, except serious body work, like more than dings in non-removable panels.. ??
Mostly complete would be nice.. Salvage title would even be fine if it's bolt-on fixable, or already fixed..

Low to high?
$2k-$6k+ ish?

I’m preparing my “roller” 951 for sale and believe $6,500 will be a reasonable number.

I am curious too what a fair price will be for one. I have not seen any signs of the 944 market escalating dramatically.

maybe im out of date but an engine-less 951/S2 roller in average condition might be $2k tops IMO.
i think anybody who knows these things would sell off the LSD transaxle separately.

The expectations for a what a "roller" consists of seem to be widely varied. It can range from a complete car, less engine to a shell with suspension.
The range of 2k to 6k sounds about right. Also, the 944 S does not have turbo bodywork or Brembo fixed calipers.

Oh, just the S2 then?

"Roller" as in a mostly complete candidate for a V8 swap
Non-running car, blown engine, no engine, type of thing.. Mostly complete...

That may be your definition, but the definition in the eyes of a seller may be different.

Make sure that you both have a documented understanding of what transfers before and commitment or transfer of funds. Also make sure you understand the status of title transfer; you might not think it important now, but it may play a factor in the future when selling to someone else in a state that requires title.

Good points..
I think I'd like to swap my M3 out, get rid of it, for a V8 951 project some time, but I am pretty much booked until next spring anyway so it's not going to happen soon..
