Anybody live in Simi Valley?
If so ould you tell me a little about the area.
I have another possible job opening that I am looking into and just want to know what the area is like.
I have no kids and I am not married. Just in case that helps you describe it better.
Thanks a million,
JR

I live 10 miles from simi valley. Its very nice property is expensive but the area has a lot of good points great golf courses, food, entertainment etc. The one downfall is its hot as hell there in the summer.

Nice area, can be an oven during the summer... whats the job? Is it for Countrywide? They seem to be the biggest employer in the area... course they also work you like a dog.

im about 15 miles away, its quite a nice place. hills around and such. You can find stuff in the surrounding areas as well. You'll be within about 15 or 20 miles of this:

yea, the scenery is awsome, but did you notice that road? look center left, you see that winding down there? thats the same road that you see close and to the right. Amazing roads. Of course, I'm shy of for a while. These are dangerous roads. Lets just say Im happy to be alive...... I've had quite the wake up call this sunday.

you like those? I'll make it unbearable for you. This would be a run I went on with the GT2/GT3 guys. a couple 993 TT's tagged along as well. Aside from the "incident" it was a great sunday, finished of by a nice lunch at Islands. This place is nick-named "Top of the World" and its the rest point/hang out for anyone running the canyons. So it turns into quite a beautiful social place full of car/motorcycle buffs on the weekends. More pictures later in the thread as well, inculding my dirty car.
