Hose from Reliaboost to Wastegate
Folks,
Finally getting some time to work on the car - a quick question before the weekend. I've read here (many times ) that I can bypass the cv (i.e. banjo>reliaboost>wastegate). The question is simple (I think...) :
I received a bunch of blue purocil (sp?) hose with a manual boost controller I purchased from Huntley several years ago - can I use this hose to go to the wastegate or do I need to get something else?
Thanks for any response and regards,
Gary.

I am also running fuel hose. It is much thicker walled than the silicone hose. I feel much better about relying on that hose. It isn't as flexible but it also won't kink, collapse or expand undert his usage.
I bought mine from Ace hardware, it is sort of a salmon pink color.
Good luck,
Max

Yeah, don't use the thin vacuum lines for the boost-control, it's too thin and flexible to manage boost. You can pick up some fuel-hose that's the same size as the factory line coming out of the banjo-bolt and use that. Easier to string underneath the manifold to because it's stiff.
