Graphite Composite Head Gasket

Graphite Composite Head Gasket
Anyone running a graphite head gasket from 928 Motorsports? I'm trying to decide which head gasket to buy and this is a contender. I like that the block and head don't have to be machined, but it's only rated to 14 psi. What are your thoughts?

Hmmm... I just put one on, with ARP head studs torqued to 95 foot pounds. Wondering if that combo is good for higher boost?
Awaiting AN8 fitting, stupid Amazon delay, before can start it up...

No it was “tested to 14” cuz it was on a 928 and 928's are not built for boost... I’m running the same gasket and will be running 20-22psi. I’m not worried, it’s a good gasket.
IOW, it was only tested for 928 which do not need more than 14. Consensus is it is good for well over 14

I do not think we say that. I think we say the head does not have to be re-torqued. Yes, you should always check the deck and head for flatness. Blocks rarely warp, but heads often do. The GCS gasket is more compliant than a MLS gasket, but even the GCS has its limits...

More info from a friend who is very knowledgeable..

Thanks, everyone, for setting me straight. I don't know much about the 928
I'll go with the GCS. Now I just need to figure out all the other gaskets and seals I should replace "while i'm in there".
