Really? Is this true?

I didnt receive the memo.
Not that I care, as I have an 86 engine anyway.

Are we certain about the rod thing? I'm thinking that isn't correct, but can't recall what we've seen in the shop....?

Oh come on now Alan. Everyone knows that Miami doesn't even come close to rivaling OU for beer consumption. Hell Playboy stopped ranking them in their party schools rankings because the "rankings are for ametuer status only and OU is clearly at the pro level"

And a Bobcat would tear up a Redhawk! OU is definately more hard core than Miami... spent time at both schools.

Back to the topic.....

Did either of you spend time at Miami in the 60's? I sent my kid to OU because of it's tame nature. Except of course on halloween.

Keith, Turbite...take a look for a post by tony g called "cast or forged" in the 944 turbo forum. I'd post a link but I seem to be unable to at the moment. In either case a lot of us that have 87+ cars have forged rods...me included.
