Great! Since it's out at the moment, might as well test it.

An update from Norway:

When I took the 951 to work today it seems that the boost is back! At least something has happened, it now starts to build boost at around 3000rpm and continue to about 2bar absolute on the original gauge.

I asked my girlfriend if she had done something and she said she had taken our two boys to some spirited driving and this helped... My GUESS is this:
  1. A clogged CAT made the WG stick open. I am guessing heat could cause this, also the WG route is bypassing the CAT so with a clogged CAT the wasted route would be much lower pressure and therefore preferred.
  2. When the test pipe was fitted the temperature and backpressure went down.
  3. Spirited driving freed off the WG.
Does this make sense?

Car has been fantastic after fitting the test pipe, powerful and nice sound!

Today I suddenly experienced loss of power at full boost. It felt almost like I hit the rpm limiter, there was a sort of bouncing feeling and sound.

What can cause this? I have removed the cycling valve and replaced it with a MBC. I do not know my boost because I only have the original gauge. Is it possible that the car was experiencing knocking and the ignition was pulled back?
