Car withuot a cat?
Hey,
I think my cat is clogged, and instead of hollowing it out, or getting a new one, can I just remove until I get a testpipe?
How will the car differ from a car with a cat, and other than emmisions, what should I look out for?
Also, who sells the cheapest test pipes for the stock exhaust?
And yes, I am too lazy to use the search button
Take Care.

Cyrus,
A clogged cat would definately hurt performance, but I'm not sure it would to the degree that you are seeing...
When you say no boost, do you mean *no* boost?

Hey Dirk,
I do get some boost, but I just don't get that kick that I'm used to getting upon acceleration. And the problem is getting worse..
I'm going to remove the cat this weekend, and take some pics. I just hope it doesn't rain on Saturday..

forecast says possible rain. You can probably get a muffler shop to make a cat delete pipe for you. just bring in the cat, tell em you want a straight pipe with flanges at the end with all the siza and alignment details and they can make it. Some shops wont do it, sinse its illegal, but some will. Tell em its for a race car or something.
