Default engine rebuild... any seggestions?

Hey, Im a new member and I joined because I was told that this is the best place for info on 951's. Any way I recently cracked my head and I am currently looking for a good place to have the entire motor rebuilt. Im located in Las Cruces NM, but am willing to travel to have it worked on. Also if you have any seggestions as to what to replace wile this is happening that would be fantastic. Thanks.

Welcome Ian,

I know of one Rennlister in NM off the top of my head, Bob Patterson is in Los Alamos, he might can give a local builder.

Do a search under Bob's name and email thru his profile.

BTW, Bob is building a really trick 951

Welcome.

In all honesty, try the search function. I don't want to comment, as I have no personal experience with most of the builders, but you can get opinions on most of them just by doing a search. Most of my opinions come from previous posts.

I've heard good things about Power Haus out of Scottsdale, but does any one have any experience with them? I'd like to do a few upgrades to improve the reliability of the motor when I get the money for power upgrades, or do a few internal power upgrades.

Rex Goes Raceing is in Santa Fe and did the original modification on my car. They do excellent work but could be very pricy.

I found Powerhaus so overpriced too. They try to justify it, but failed to me.

Don Jackson in AZ knows their stuff, so did Technodyne but he's not here any more.
