I have an 89 944T (Red/Black) that was to be a project car over time. Previous owner was going to make it into a Pikes Peak race car and has a CA Salvage Title (Hail but no signs of that but the LF sender is off color). Family health became more important. It's been covered on the side of my house for 12 years in Colorado. The car is rust free (CA, CO), mileage unknown but ran strong at purchase. It stopped starting about 3 years ago, so the rocket needs the "reviving". It will need timing & balance belts, power steering pump rebuild, cracked dash, interior is out in boxes, tires of course and a steering wheel. I need to move it from the location or fence it in.

Should I sell it to someone who wants a track car to start a project with? What is it worth now? Thoughts and ideas are welcomed!

Often wondered about putting a SR20 in a 944/924.. Front cutoffs < 3500 and fully documented on how to get them running.

If it's an intact car, please don't cut it up for parts!
You might get more money out of it in pieces, but it's just wrong!

Jeesh that is REALLY a perfect car for a racecar. Maybe post it in the Racing and drivers ed forum.. . Mine is a 88-s that was "Running" barely... and I purchased it for cheap and made a Really nice racecar out of it... The "Bones" is what is desired in an "S" I wish you were closer... I love building Racecars..
