The higher rpms are just a tad low due to minimal wheel spin on the dyno. The soft rpm cut starts at 7700 rpm. Hard cut at 8000 rpm.
We are running a Swedish Time Attack series. First race of the season was about 3 weeks ago which we won. Ran ~700 hp at the time.
Next race is this weekend.

Thanks guys!Yes I believe this is an unofficial world record for this platform. The full billet Elmer Racing engine is very cool but I wouldn't really classify it as a Porsche engine as it only share some base dimensions with the factory design. Everything else is different. But regardless, they haven't produced a dyno sheet higher than this

Staggering results... A Nordschleife official lap record would make for a motivating Project 2020.

Default There's more HP there!

I'm noticing the rather dramatic power dip at 7300 is not typical of a power limitation. It looks more like tire slip or backing off the throttle slowly. With the steep power curve leading up to it, I'd say your engine will document even more power if you choose to go to redline without issues. Nonetheless, your power level at 7200 is quite an achievement, Duke; very, very impressive.

Congratulations on your initial win! How did the 2nd race go? Keeping the race boost at a reasonable level is certainly prudent. You only need enough power to win.

Very impressive Duke! What is the stroke? 92 mm? I assume 4G63 journal size?

Well spotted Michael, we were slipping slightly at high rpms. We should have had hard old street tires on the dyno instead of slicks that tend to produce less grip on the dyno (at least this type of dyno).
We're on our way to the 2nd race of the season right now. The power is adjustable in 5 steps between 720-950 hp so I think we'll keep it at the lower end for now and save the big power for the next race with longer straights

Duke, are you racing now, as in, a duration of laps/time for position on track vs other on track competitors or is this car still used for time attack....?

If the latter, how many full power laps do you estimate the engine has to endure per event....?

Congrats on the milestone...!

I have the 16v head from an S in boxes... you have inspired me to get it bolted up to the 951.

Anyone have a 951 short block for sale?
