Hey everyone. I have an 86 944 turbo that I am looking to get new wheels for. I know they are early offset with +23 all around. I am getting a set of Hartmann twist wheel made to whatever spec I want but cannot decide on specs. Looking to possbly run 17x8 fronts, 17x9 rear. The builder said it'd be tough to get them to around the stock offsets of +23 but can build them to in the 30's without problems. I was wondering what offsets I should consider getting. I dont really want to run large spacers/adapters like most people do with the later offset porsche wheels. Im ok with smaller spacers to help fill out the wheel wells.
Looking at offset calculators, an offset of 30 would put the outer edge 6mm out and the inner side would go 20mm in. Would that offset work? Any recommendations on wheel size/offsets would be appreciated.
