duke there is a procedure to avoid the dipstick thing... one, is people who complained of that often had lines routed wrong. also, you can drill the outlet for the breather wider (lindsey did mine when building my 2.8)

Duke-
Thats just what I was going to say... I'd be willing to bet the dipstick popping syndrome is due to a non-drilled separator. Logically the path of least resistance is through the catch can's filter... not through the dipstick. The only reason that would happen is a restriction in the vent line.
Daniel-
Sure a catch can will gain you a couple ponys but more importantly (IMO) it will not cote your intake with oil. Less oil in the intercooler will increase it's efficiency.

Ahmet- Your PM box is full. The price is updated on the first post...
Matt- You have a PM.
Daniel- I'll be out of town for a few days I'll call you when I get back. If you want one, just PayPal me the money (less shipping if you want to come and pick it up) and I'll reserve you one.

Sorry Ahmet (and everyone else that wants a recirc. catch can)... I don't have any nor will I make any. There are plenty of them out on the market Greddy, Cuzco, etc... I wanted one that looked nice and vented to the atmosphere. I don't need to sell them, just have extras for any Rennlister that wants one.

I got it installed... This is just one way of doing it. I used:
2 3/4 conduit hangers and some aluminum bar stock (both available at Lowe's or Home Depot).
Link
I may switch to steel bar stock if the aluminum bends too much.
Basically, the can rests on the top of the two radiator fans and is secured with the bar stock and clamps. The clamps fit perfectly after you remove the aluminum water pipe that goes to the turbo (welded to the other aluminum radiator pipe). I think the clamps may work better with the flange type can better. Just rotate the clamps around so the bolt is facing toward the engine and drill two holes in the can mounting flange... Hard to say. But this way works nicely and you can't see the mounting hardware when looking into the engine. And best of all, the hood closes with no rubbing and no modding to the filter or can!
