seat motors
hey i have a problem w/ my seat motors - the front goes up and down but the rear doesnt. its pretty annoying cause my head hits my visor (im only 5'11" but im all torso no leg so i have to sit up close but i need the seat to go down). i checked pelican parts but they dont have seat motors - does anyone know who does, or can i adjust the height manually?

You can take the switches apart and clean the burnt contacts, but the first time you do it you might lose a few bits or break something if you are not careful. It helps to pull the seat so you can get at the switchbox easily.
When I reassemble them I use a dab of dielectric grease to hold the little bits in place while I snap the switch back together.

Check to see if it is the motor or the switch. If it is the switch then that is available or you can swap the wires to the good switch, drive down the back of the seat and then reconnect. That's what I did until I get around to replacing the bad switch.

it's not your seat motors. if both seats dont go down, then it's something else. if you find out what it is, tell me, i have the same problem. sometimes it works, and other times it doesn't..
