i'm still sorting thru all of my footage, i'll see if i can come up w/ something - it was SO fast my camera people had trouble keeping a steady shot on it... and the sound doesn't do it justice, but perhaps i'll have something good enought post in a week or two.

What's going on with that intercooler ducting. It looks like air would flow through the intercooler and then get routed straight up into the hood. Is there a scoop or something on that car that isn't pictured?

that's actually a vent so the air flows more freely through the intercoolers. In one end out the other. If you look at the hood, there are vents cut in it (I forget the technical name for those but they've been used for MANY years. I know as soon as I post this I'll rember.)

Dammit West, you beat me to it before I could edit my post... yes you are quite correct; the word I was looking for is louver.
I must say, while my car sits in a million-and-one pieces awaiting the necessary funds to buy all the parts required to put it back together, I often wonder if I should continue with it's development or simply sell it and buy a less expensive car in a more competitive class, i.e. stock 944. (Those who race know what I'm talking about)
Then I see threads like these and question the logic.
Yes there is a **considerable** investment required to make these cars competitive, but I'm already half way there, and just HOW gratifying it must be to beat the entire field in a [nearly] 20 year old "Bastard Porsche" against the latest and greatest Weissach has to offer.
There is however a less costly solution to my dilemma; why don't all of YOU start racing your 951's? That way there will be more cars in the field making it a more legitimate and competitive class.
See you **all** on the track!
