Default Selling my yellow 951 - crosspost

OK I am about as depressed as I can be. I am considering selling my yellow 951. I know there is a limited market for such an extensively modified car but if anyone knows someone that might be interested I'm going to be listening to offers. Drop me an email at aus951@hotmail.com. Of course there are plenty of pics and the specifications on my web pages - those specs change on an almost weekly basis though so email if you need clarification on something.

Didn't you just upgrade to a Haltech setup?

Looks to me like you have a lot of blood, sweat and tears put into your car... don't give up now. You're waaayyyy past the point of return.

With your website, you've provided us with a great reference for tuning and modifying our cars. Thank you for that.

Hope you're looking into another 951

Vic

Thanks Tony, yours too, goes without saying.

Turbite - Why am I selling ? - see the post in the non turbo forum.

Pauerman - The Haltech gear is still sitting in the box (trust me you don't know how bad I am itching to install and tune that stuff) unfortunately the gear arrived about the same time I found out about the LHD registration problem in South Australia. Given the gut wrenching sinking feeling that produced I suspended my plans to install the E6X until I could verify what the future of the car was going to be. Unfortunately it doesn't look good for being able to take the car back since I won't be able to register it as a street car.

I posted in the other forum, but for those of you that don't know this car let me vouch for it. I've ridden in it and afterwards I thought "this is what I want my car to be when it grows up". Seriously though, power delivery is amazingly smooth all the way to redline. And the car just pulls and pulls. Wayne's put some serious time and TLC into that car. I hate to see him selling it cause I know how much he loves it.

Wayne,
Hey, I don't know what your situation is but have you thought about the possibility of storage! You know, I'm not very far from you and have a warehouse I could make room in. It's an option but maybe it'll give you some time to find out what the future holds. Man, I hate to see you have to sell your car after putting so much work into it.

Its a real shame that you have to sell your car. Its is gorgeous and I can see the effort you have put into it. I wish you the best. It sucks when we have to make these tuff decisions in life.
Good luck.

You can always fly over and visit the parts if you miss them! Just $100 or so dollars across the ditch now.
