There's serious weight to be saved by converting that to carbon fiber.

Weight savings aside. It is worth at least 5hp.

I like it that they are selling Valentine One's for $450 even though Valentine One sells them for $400.

Worst thing is it's not real CF, that's CF look film, used on ricer gauge bezels all the time, costs like $5.

It's called overlay. I have a buddy that ownes a fiberglass company. I am always bugging him to make me stuff, but neither of us seem to have the time to get together to work out the details. Plus, he usually does big projects like for Disney, Universal Studios, etc. Mkaes a lot of the character displays, the rock walls you see in malls and stuff.

Not that I am arguing for it but it says about 4 times that it is real CF not overlay. I believe they added a coating since vacuum bagging would make that far too expensive and everyone wants CF to look shiny (which it does not until it is bagged).

Yeah, which is really funny because it's overlay. They're learning from the eBay auction descriptions I guess.

Ha, $79!! I made one for about $15, it had a couple blemishes so I'm going to make another.

How is this rice? What looks better (real) carbon fiber or dull plastic?
