I received an email today that they have a production run going and expect delivery in about 10 weeks. A price and quantity was not indicated. I asked for a grey unit but did not receive a confirmation to see if they were going to be produced in this run. I'll update when they let me know they are in stock.
--UPDATE -- Unfortunately grey is no longer a production option; bronze tint only.

The bronze in the new ones is nothing like the bronze from the early 80s production. Ive had original grey, original bronze and the new production all in my hands...while grey did look the best IMHO I preferred the new version and sold off my grey/framed top.

10 years ago it was a dream and the only tops out there were used and needed work. Now we can get new original tops, is the tint color going to stop the purchase. There is always a really used one out there, just saying.

I have the "new" one (from about 2 years ago) on my Alpine White 86'.
I was concerned prior to purchase about the 'bronze' as opposed to 'grey'-- however I can tell you it's not overly bronze tinted or even an issue with tint mismatch on the windows.
Honestly I forgot about it until reading this post. From the outside, it looks like most any other glass sunroof. If they use the same materials they used 2 ish years ago, should be fine.

They are supposed to email me when the tops come in. At that point, a group buy discount might be possible (depending on how many units are available for purchase). The person who replied to me didn't know what the quantity of the production run was. They will also update the website to show current available inventory and you can order directly.

I disappeared from the forums for a few years so I missed out on the initial buy. I assume you did a lot more than me to get them back in production - I've traded a few emails and it was pretty easy to pick up where you left off with them. Thanks!

You should only know how much time I invested in this. I did surveys, marketing and pushed Pilk to get them to produce. Had to deal with mgt changes, and a host of other items. This was almost a year in the making for me. But, it got done and many benefited from my efforts. All good.
