Default power steering rack keeps blowing seals

A friend with a 944 Turbo has a problem with repeatedly blowing the seals on his power steering rack. He's replaced the pump, and the lines, and of course the rack multiple times. Has checked the suspension to make sure nothing is binding. Any insights? TIA!

Has he replaced the reservoir? It contains a built-in filter and if it’s degraded it will keep feeding debris into his new lines, pumps and racks.

Is he sure that he is installing the pressure inlet and the return line banjo fittings in the proper port on the rack? Both ports are are right next to each other and the banjo bolts are the same size and thread and they can be confused with one another. If you try to pump fluid backward through the rack you will assuredly blow seals. The pressure inlet port is the lower port on the rack (when the rack is in the installed position) and the low pressure return line is the upper port.
