The door handles are metal not plastic similar to the metal the original ones are made of, probably pewter. I know the internals (on both) are pot metal because I bought a used set that had a cracked lever and it could not be repaired. The aero mirrors have metal for the base and insert only. The compressable spring in the kit is much stiffer than the ones on the 44 mirrors. You'll need to be creative to compress it to assemble the mirrors or fashion a simple tool.

I picked up my mirrors from Jeff at Sunset using my $100 off PCA coupon. I ended up paying like $260, or something like that. It was an awesome deal that I couldn't pass up. They are still in the box waiting for me to get off my butt. They come as a box full of tiny parts individually bagged with Porsche part numbers.

Looks like we have enough interest, lets put the end buy decision date at the 15th and Feb to give everyone a chance to get in, I think that is fair. I will get the final prices for combos and mirrors etc from Jeff as mentioned and we should be all go! Exciting.

I'm in, but I need the handles in a HURRY cuz my car just arrived @ the paint shop, any way you could work it out so he could ship mine ahead of time and I'd still get the discount? PM me plz

I have sent a message asking if it is ok for people to order and pick them up individually and before the 15th. The only risk there is that if we dont make the 5 order min, then what happens to the discount etc. It looks like we have more than enough interest though. I will update when I hear back from Jeff with his ok and prices. The code word for the group buy will be "NZ951 group buy" when ordering to get the discount.
