I was going to but didn't cause of the rain. Watched it though.

Porsche kicked some ***!!! 2nd and 3rd overall. Loved seeing the Chevys fall apart at the end....literally

Too bad about Racer's Group

The 3rd place spot in SGS and 13th over all was a Porsche shop here in Orlando, Zotz Garage. Used to have work done there when I lived on that side of town. Ron Zitz, the owner, is pretty cool. Down to earth.

Yep; was a great race.
1st place in SGS was Doncaster racing. The crew chief is a wrench I went to once. A little arrogant and expensive but I guess he can afford to be.

Was at Daytona last year for the 24 hour. My buddy had the "in" and got us great tickets (pit and garage passes). He also had the digital at the time and still has pics of me shaking hands with Max Papis and Randy Pobst. Pobst is a great guy and didn't mind spending time and talking to a "lowly" enthusiast.

My buddy reads this forum and is lurking around here somewhere.
Come out, come out where ever you are!

Cool. I was at last years also, but only got the grand stand pass. If weather is good next year, will definately get infield/pit passes.

Definitely get the Paddock pass. It's $30 additional but money well spent. I think walking around the garages before the race and watching teams try to repair cars at 6am (like the #68 TRG car) is almost as much fun as watching the race.

I went again this year but am still trying to dry out.

I have been having my cars done at their shop for years, and my father has been dealing with them in one way or another since the 70s. When it comes to setting up a car I haven't seen to many that are up to their level. (at least in this area)

I am really happy for them, and that they are able to show what they can do on an international stage. The 996 they set up was on the pole for the sprint race on Friday, and they had to set the car up by guesstimate as the car had never run.
