944T Vacuum Hose

Question about Vacuum Hose sizing. My car came to me with red Lindsey Racing vacuum tubing that is 3/16” (4.762mm). On recommendation from another RL thread I ordered Continental Cloth vacuum hosing that turned out to be 3.5mm in diameter.

Knowing that Conti diameter is smaller, I’m assuming this will negatively impact airflow even if it fits up?

its vacuum tubing, there's not much in the way of airflow, period.

that said you know that they sell soft vacuum tubing in a variety of sizes on the shelf at your auto store?

Valid point. I went ahead and just ordered the LR Black silicone as I’m trying to get rid of all the red piping from the previous owner.

If anyone wants the red vacuum hosing and hard pipe kit I’m removing, happy to send for the price of shipping.

Received a PM from s14kev who has first right of refusal.

This is for the "red" LR vacuum lines and hard pipe kit as removed from my car. 4 hard hoses and a number of small vacuum hoses. Just to confirm this is for an early 944T only.
