Default Rennwerks Race Car

A buddy of mine got some software and pulleys installed on his BMW a few days ago at Rennwerks in Mountain View. I was surprised at how clean their shop was and how involved in Porsche racing they are. They had several 911 race cars, a 944 race car, and a monster of a 951 race car. It's worth checking out for those in the area. Here's a couple pics of their 951 race car. It's for sale if anyone has a spare $70k.

Anyone know anything about this car?

The only thing I know about it is that it looks like a fun ride!

That's awesome, basically a dump pipe.

Why on the wrong side? Surely it would be better on the "passenger side" near the door??? Maybe a space issue

Driver's side is closer to the turbo exit.

Yup, I'm getting a job there this summer. My friend who currently works there is leaving for Flying Lizard.

I have something similar on my 944turbo racecar. There is two words for my explanation and that's Laguna Seca. Laguna Seca has a sound limit and the decibal meter is on the right side. This way your car basically block the sound when passing the meter and you pass.
