Default Tires peeling out

I don't know why but everytime i shift under hard acceleration they peel out then catch but that is with 265/35/18. I stock rims were pretty wore out but it would peel out everytime the turbo would kick in. I don't know whats going on but i just want it to just stick. I don't know if LSD is the problem or what. Thanks in advance

Also what is the biggest tire you can fit on the stock rim

Unless you put one in your car, there is no LSD.
btw, do you have any pics of the car?
I'm considering 18's and am curious..

So another words i can't stop it from peeling out unless i get a LSD which cost around $1000 used. How much do they cost new. and also does anyone have one for sale.

Send me some pics as well, Michael_Radak@hotmail.com I am too in the process of looking at getting a LSD for my '86 951. This winter snow sucks here and with out it getting up a hill can be hard to say the least. If you are peeling out from a straight line when the turbo kicks in you can first try to get a good set of tires. I know when it is warm out my rears will ALMOST peel out in 2nd but with this cold weather it doesn't even take 1.5 bar boost before it breaks. First off would be some good sticky tires, then try a LSD.

Hmm.. well unless it's turbo lag, it sounds like you have dirty fuel lines/rails/injectors or a bad contact on the TPS.

I'm assumung you know about turbo lag, so I'm not going to go there, but i'd first try to clean your fuel system with a fuel additive (get one at AutoZone or whatever) that cleans your injectors and all. If it still persists, get the TPS checked out

That is fine, I just know that is one of my upgrades soon. A LSD and new wheels are one of the few at the top of my list. First thing to find out is how to get the money!!

Option code 220 IIRC is LSD on a Porsche 944 Turbo. It was available in 1986 as per my 1986 944 Turbo brochure (the big one) as an option on those cars. Mine at some point seems to have had it added or it was on the car and for some reason the option isn't shown on my option codes.

wheel is LSD is where one wheel spins or both at the same time. I think only one spins. I think that is where my problem is because i have brand new 265/35/18 on my car and they still spin. I think the shocks need to be replaced but i don't know if that is a issue. I am going to load the pictures from the camera now

You're not powershifting are you? Meaning, when you switch gears, do you keep the throttle wide open and just dump the clutch, or do you first switch the gear, lift the clutch and then hit it? The first one is really hard on your drivetrain and isn't even that much faster than doing it properly...
