I just had an '83 Ford F150 Ext.Cab truck that breathed its last recently. Was thinking about donating to Cars4Causes but would definitely get more enjoyment out of dropping it from a plane into that guy's house. Would be even better to load it up full of pyrotechnics and film it going in. Would make a great ending to someone's movie!

Well after giving this matter some thought I have decided to expose the name of the person who ripped me off. I finally received the main bearing set and the car computers he had promise. I know someone had mentioned that the motor had signs of water damage I took a close picture of the KRL cover it looks like it has been recovered from the Titanic.

The guy who sold me the engine:

Mr. John Forbes
Black Forest Racing

Delray Beach, Fl.

KRL Cover pict

There are water spots all over the circuits I doubt the KRL and DME are in working condition.

Thanks, for all your support

Hopefully my car should be running within 3 weeks or less.

Yup that's water damage. It came from a car that had a leaking battery tray. Water will drip onto the wire harness, and follow it down into the computers.

They probably still work. My old 951 had that problem. Actually stalled the car while I was driving. The holes were clogged from corrosion, so when I flipped the DME & KLR over. Water actually poured out. They worked fine after they were dried out.
