I didn't catch that one. Funny thing is, on my 86 stock pipe I don't have that bulge in the pipe. Mine is one of the first imported in the US and has the early style cat pipe with the clamp type flange for the WG dump tube. This changed sometime after the first 550 951's were produced. I'll have to take a close look when i get home.

Wicked loud is not a bad thing (maybe), but does it sound good or not?? IMHO exhaust leaks and such sound like ***... if the atmosphere wg dump is nice and loud, I know what to do next summer
