Default K27-6 951 is is quick as a...?

...C5 Z06? I read that from time to time and would love real life confirmation of this or similar stories.

A somewhat built 951 with bolt-ons being a vague description, I am looking fwd to getting mine on the road! I need some inspiration my brothers and sisters 😅. Engine’s out now and I can’t wait.

never pulled an engine before, haha

Welcome.
How come you pulled the engine? What are your ambitions with the car?

My 951 with a 60-1 turbo, vitesse maf, tial, and exhaust was (edit: is) really quick - especially 10+ years ago before everything got stupid fast. Pulling on a C5 vette was childs play. I can't imagine a Z06 would be much more difficult BUT you are as unlikely to find one of those stock nowadays as you are a 951.

For now, k27-6, supporting chip, ebc, shimmed stock wastegate, test pipe, timing belt, balance shaft belt and rollers, rear main seal, front seals, aor seals, oil cooler seals, oil pan gasket and rod bearings. Stock afm for now.

i figure that should be a good baseline...

I have a fresh ported 27/6 and a Vitesse 27/6 chip if interested.
