I purchased tune up items from PP and was wondering if someone can take a look at the attached picture of the rotor that was delivered. Looks like a small piece of that gold plating is chipped. It's smooth to the touch when crossing to and from it. At first it looked like some melted plastic or something, but it looks more like the gold plating missing from that spot. Should I return this item or is it safe to install?
It will work if yo need it to but if you got the time to spare call customer service maybe they will send you a new one without making you return the old one.
