So here's the comparison shots... The shifter is quite a bit tighter now, but I think the inside of the black rod is worn a bit too unfortunately.

I replaced the shift lever, the ball cup, etc once. It made it feel a little better in my mind. Replacing the linkages on the trans made it feel like new in my hand.

Tedro, would I need to do the entire short-shift kit to replace the linkages, or could I get by with replacing less parts?
