Default Dry Sump Pan

Template for inner baffle
Here's a dry sump pan that works. The baffle directs oil to each side of the pan where it is scavenged by the short tubes with slotted holes in the bottom. Don't use an open tube! Fluid dynamics tell you why.

The stock Glyco rod bearings available today are soft and not suitable for performance applications. The Rod Mod allows them to be replaced with a true performance bearing designed for high-performance use. It's the same bearing design that NASCAR uses. It's not a cure-all for oiling issues we face with the 944, but it's far more durable than the Glyco, and a cheap insurance policy.
