You know I'm sure Kyle would have worked with you if you asked him. He is pretty awesome. His products are only getting better designed as he continues on his quest to produce the best possible products for our cars. I'm sure he would have liked to trade out that part just to inspect it as he likes to build all his products without any issues ever. I had an older style short shifter of his break on me and he traded it out for his newer style just to be able to inspect how it broke and how he could make it stronger for his next production run.

There was nothing wrong with the linkage, and Kyle is great to deal with. The problem was with the factory shift rod having gnarly threads, so I tapped the linkage rod. When I told Kyle this, he said that’s what Porsche should have done, so I have that going for me.
