Default Finally done it! 968 Temp gauge in 951

Ok,

After weeks of screwing around, I have finally put the 968 temp gauge and sensor in my 951, with stock mirrors. Complete pain in the ***. Yay for me and the 968 guy who provided a wiring diagram of the 968 gauge. Cheers for the mirroe advise also guys.

Congrats!

Excellent upgrade!

PS> I've got a brand new 968 temp gauge I purchased about a year ago, but never installed in my 951 due to the lack of wiring diagrams and mainly time... Trades? :-)

You son of a bitch. I finally get it sorted now I have mirror issues! I blew a fuse some how. Replaced it and then blew it again. I changed the orientation of the wires going to the glass. Now the drivers side goes, but the passenger side only goes left and down, not right and up. This is weird as it uses a function of each motor. So its not that one motor is broken. Any ideas what I have done? I also checked the connector block and it is in correctly...

I find it far easier and infinitely less painful to check the temp on the bank's sign as I drive by.

I sawpped my clock for a personalised plate I owned 951 6 years ago! It was a completly odd event to have met and arranged this deal. I picked this temp sensor up as people are asking silly money for LCD clocks. Any ideas on the mirror issue?

I sold my 968 manuals so I can't look into the wiring diagrams. Hopefully someone has a set that can help. I may see Ken Farler Monday if so I'll ask if he has any ideas.
