If you are getting spark and in the correct order. Then I would start looking at the FUEL delivery. Based on your earlier post, you have fuel in the rail. Any idea what's the pressure? Also, having fuel at the rail does not mean that your injectors are opening.
If you have a test light (12V low power) you might be able to check: (a) injectors are getting power (b) they are getting signal from DME.
Install the last chip you had in the DME when the car ran last. Even if it's for the AFM, the car should at least start. This will eliminate any possible chip damage.
Also, double check your TPS (I doubt this is causing the no start).
All it takes is FUEL, SPARK and Compression to fire.. Diagnose by eliminating possibilities...

ok i've isolate the problem, i installed my old injectors and chips and it started right up, so something is wrong with the new ones.
these are brand new siemens injectors that i purchased from guru racing. besides something being physically wrong with the injectors the only thing i can think of is that maybe the fuel pressure is a little too low (my gauge was showing around 36 psi when cranking). still the old ones started no problem.
danno you around?

I would think the injectors are fine.. I'm leaning toward a corrupted chip.. Keep the old injectors in place, reinstall the new chip (the one that the car never ran on). More than likely, the car wouldn't start.

Yeah, fuel-pressure is too low at 36, it should be 43.5psi with the vacuum line disconntected (reconnect to run car). The GURU chips are calibrated for 3.0-bar fuel-pressure instead of the stock 2.5-bar. Also make sure you have the FQS switch set for the proper size injectors.
Also do fast951's test with the stock injectors and GURU Chips (set FQS to #0 for stock injector sizing). If it still doesn't run, then we may have a bad GURU chip. Confirm this by putting the stock chip in. If it does run, then for sure the GURU chip is bad and I'll get you another on one. The calibrations on the chip for the #55 Seimens is different than the #55 Delphi, so I'll be sure to get you the right one.

But did you use the same FQS setting as when it didn't start?
Is it possible that you had the chip installed incorrectly when it wasn't starting?
The good news, is that your car starts.
Try few things:
- Set FQS to whatever it was when car didn't start.
- Get car running, no mods to DME, then try the 55# injectors...

i did some more tests today, summary:
-car runs with stock injectors, stock chips, FQS 0 (stock position), fuel pressure 44psi
-car runs with stock injectors, new chips, FQS 0, fuel pressure 44psi
-car does not run with new injectors, stock chips, FQS 0, fuel pressure 44 psi
-car does not run with new injectors, new chips, FQS 1 (danno's recommendation for 55lb injectors), fuel pressure 44 psi
-car does not run with new injectors, new chips, FQS 0, fuel pressure 44 psi.
ballast resistors were installed when the new injectors were installed. the only conclusion i can come to is that the new injectors are no good.
there goes any chance i had of driving this thing in 2003

It sounds that you isolated the problem, bad injectors. This is a new one, 4 bad injectors at the same time!!!
If you need injectors soon, email me directly. Now go enjoy the Holiday!!!
