Default Central Locking - what can cause these symtoms?

Car is a 89 951, ex-California if that should matter (saw that fuse 17 mentioned diag.connector for Central locking, USA only???). This is what I have found:
  1. Fuse is fine
  2. Both doors will Lock and unlock With the key
  3. Locking one or both of the doors activate the alarm (probably unrelated to the Central locking?)
  4. Locking either side of the doors will not Lock the other side
  5. Unlocking either side of the doors will not Unlock the other side
  6. With ignition on, pressing the Central locking button will produce two clicks from the Control module, but no locking or red light in the switch
  7. With ignition on, locking one side will not produce a click from the Control module but a red light in the switch
  8. With ignition on and both sides Locked, unlocking one side will produce a click from the Control module, red light stays on.
  9. I have removed the PS doorcard and moved the actuator, it does not seem to be sticking.

There are many wires to the actuators, how can i test if the actuators are really getting Power? And are there a way to test the Control module?
