I have noticed that my hesitation / stumbling when on USA maps occurs when boost begins to build and the AFM is dithering showing its in closed loop. I can have 5 psi boost with only 1/2 throttle, As soon as it drops out of closed loop, it smooths out. On ROW maps, no closed loop,no stumbling.
Heres my thought...The factory maps take into account that I am running the stock cycling valve which delay boost unless several variables are met. I dont have the CV and am using a reliaboost as the MBC. This lets boost build much sooner then the stock chips are expecting..hence the stumbling on boost while still in closed loop.
Am I full of crud or not?
Do aftermarket chips change the point where the DME goes open loop?
