they should have had a tuned or restored 951 with brand new r compound tires. They seemed clueless. The GTS is a beast and the suspension I think works with magnets. very unfair comparison and very poorly executed.

Fun vid to watch. Agree with the odd pairing. Thanks for the entertainment!

You gotta rethink that one... especially on the Rennlist echo chamber.

Best of luck in your quest to right this wrong. Can't wait to read the letter you craft. I'm sure the PCA will take your grievance to heart.

It was just to generate interest in the new Macan Spec racing series. Sorry, just back from PCA Club Racing this weekend. I hope you all know this is a joke.

One thing - Not sure I see what this has to do with Porsche marketing. Panorama is a PCA publication, not a Porsche or PCNA publication. They did the video and article, not PCNA.

And then a bunch of other publications like Autoweek picked it up because they thought it a cool story.

So -- I believe they are RIGHT by saying it's journalistic integrity. I don't even know if Porsche supplied the Macan for this.

The 951 is an OK car, that's it.

Simmer down. He probably just spun the #2 rod bearing just after buying his car. It happens a LOT! Or timing belt broke. Or...whatever....then replaced more $$$$ parts.
A great car has a high miles to money spent. That said my 87 951 is a piece of ****. It cost me my life and has Zero miles on it. But I'll never sell it.
