Default Another Supercharger car leaves Huntley!

I love this car! It's an 87' 924S with a Stage II Supercharger kit making 205 HP and 200 TQ at the wheels (up from 115 HP and 120 TQ stock)! What a sleeper car. Can you imagine the look from the guy in his hopped up Mustang that gets taken by the little 924! We are also doing a 944S with a Stage II right now too. Lots of fun!

In this case, most likely more than the car is worth otherwise...

Well this 924S is in basically perfect shape with 40K on the odometer and a nice color combo of silver/black. I would say he chose a nice car to hop up.

well, I am glad someone had the money to play with, LOL... The dust is still settling after my $$$$ stereo install and with over 240 lbs of extra weight, 2 batteries and 220A alternator, this is probably a most gutless car that I have had in a long time, LOL (I can feel the alternator sucking out whatever guts the engine had before...). Like catch 22, had to spend big money to feel the need for more power but now the money is not there no more, LOL... And I am not kidding about that extra weight either...

She has 7 PSI on the dot from 1500 RPM to 6000 RPM with .5 PSI less before and after those RPM points!

Derrek,

As I am on the fence between sourcing a 951 motor and supercharging my existing motor, I am curious: What was the total cost to the customer on this sweet little HP upgrade?

TIA,

Tifo

If you are installing the kit yourself they are $5000 for Stage I and $5750 for Stage II. This customer had us do the install and before and after dyno runs to check power.

Derrek, if you don't mind me asking, how many hours of labor did it take you guys for the install?

Stage 2 has an intercooler, right? No internal mods are need for it, just straight "plug-n-play"? I assume it deletes the AC (which I never use.....) I think I know where I may be spending some cash soon..........

Tifo, IIRC, the huntley setup allows you to keep the A/c, but like you said, you never use it so it's a convient excuse to pull all of that out.

The kits take 4 hours to install, but we also did before and after dyno tuning and made a custom map for this car.

I would like to see a picture of the install on the 944s. I would like to do one on mine. Do you have to remap the ecu or just install a chip?

Also, Derrek Khajavi, I'm guessing you work at Huntley from the posts... tell me, what ever happened to the Zebra project car?? Is it still around and running? I've researched all I could about the car (I mean, damn, a 700+hp 944!!) but still don't have any lap times or 0-100 times, care to share?

Thanks a lot!
