1984 944 2.5 NA euro wont spark/start

1984 944 2.5 NA euro wont spark/start
Hi Guys,
this one has my pulling my hair (and I cant afford to lose it) one of my 944,s namely 84 2.5 na will not produce a spark at the king lead or plug leads basically nothing coming out of the coil , checked all the usual culprits DME, ECU , crank sensors , new coil but still nothing . I have power going to the coil (both sides to ground 12v) fuel pump running power to fuel injectors but nothing going to dizzy cap . any thoughts advise would be great . many thanks Jon

Are you sure the DME relay and coil are good? The DME itself is not easy to verify/diagnose. Swap it into one of your other 944s to test.
