944 exhaust recommendations
As stated in the title I'm looking for an aftermarket exhaust set up. Looking to do a cat back set up. Maybe delete the catalytic converter (its for an 84). I've already got a flow master from my friend. But my question is what brand will provide the best sound? I'm not looking for a fart can Honda sound I'd like to aim for a deep throaty sounds if possible.

Heard / read a lot of things that raise concerns about altering the exhaust back pressure and losing torque. Have also been told that Porsche didn't leave all that much on the table with the S2 design and tuning.
The exhausts mentioned, didn't have any of these issues? I'm tired on not hearing my exhaust note with the stock setup.

The old exhaust broke at Atlanta Motorsports Park and there is no question about the loss of torque & power with only a straight pipe (plus noisy as all get out, and after having the new exhaust installed, the "S" was nice & snappy, felt much quicker getting on the highway, stop lights, and no more need for ear plugs

Now that the engine is sorted nice, and pulls good and strong from 3500 to red line and valve float, I wonder if the slightly less restrictive exhaust (which I imagine this'll have to be) is going to gain better torque and quicker acceleration.

Byron,
Thanks for the video, however it's a little too close to the muffler so the sound is muffled a bit. Are you able to take another one farther away, say around 15-20 feet away?
Thanks.
btw, how was the customer service at BR? I've read mixed reviews...

Well, Albert is like other very talented people in the Porsche (and other communities) where communication, can be a challenge, but, his craftsmanship is 2nd to none..

I can understand how this sounds awesome in person. It sounds like it would keep true to the "porsche" sound! Whats your whole set-up look like (headers, cat...etc)?
