Thanks for offering the mirror, im not sure if i need just the glass or the whole mirror. He has tape where the joint is(where it bends), so i need to look at it first if i need whole mirror or not. I read that the shimmy at freeway speeds, that if the locking lug nut (heavier than the other lug nuts) is on the same side as the valve stem..it will upset the wheel balance. My question is, could i just use a regular t-handle to tighten the lug nuts or do i need to torque them down to a spec?

ALWAYS TORQUE LUG NUTS TO SPEC!

Yout wheels are balanced with the valve stems installed and the locking lug is so close to the center of the wheel that any slight weight difference won't be noticeable, so I don't buy that the position of the locking lug makes any difference on wheel wobble. The car is 26 years old, the shimmy could be caused by anything from an out of balance wheel, worn struts, cheap tires or bad suspension bushings. There is no way to know without getting under the car.

Yea thats true, i just thought if it was a tie rod then wouldnt wobble all the time? In the city normal driving it doesnt bottom out on bumps/pot holes. The alignment is straight..i can take my hand off the steering wheel and it doesnt pull to one side. When i get to around 55-60mph it shakes, he said its been like that since he bought it.

Oh yea the e-brake handle in the 944 will not stay up on its own, it works and holds the car but you have to prop it up with something. Any thoughts on that issue?

The ratcheting mechanism inside the e-brake lever is either sticky or worn out. I've had this problem before, a simple fix is to remove the handle, clean it out and if necessary use a file or grinder to reshape the point on the ratcheting lock.

You should pop the timing cover off and visually inspect the belts before you start worrying about it.

If you decide to do the belts yourself, take your time and read the manual carefully. I bought a 944 cheap because the owner tried to do the timing belts himself and gave up. Considering the cost of the tools and belt kit, it might be cheaper in the long run and get you back on the road faster if you have a mechanic do it.

Thats not bad at all, i still have to get used to the look of the 50 profile tires. Everyones saying it helps out performance, but is it really THAT much improvement?

Heres a few pictures you guys, sorry it took so long. I'm actually in the middle of clay bar & waxing it.

Heres when i first bought....MY FIRST EVER FILL UP IN A 944! lol
http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d8...8/DSC_0004.jpg

Heres tonight, just half of the hood took me about 2 hours and 30 minutes of clay barring.
http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d8...8/DSC_0010.jpg

And i swear i washed it before clay baring it lol, its just dirt, pollution etc.

Before driving it next time, im going to do the timing belt and take my time and MAKE SURE that i tensioned it right. Other than that, it drives nice...i noticed when its warming up that you can hear loud rattling. So i push in the clutch and you cant hear the loud rattling anymore and after that it doesnt rattle at all. The clutch doesn't slip at all, pulls good threw out the powerband..has an aftermarket throttle cam btw. I'm going to check the numbers on the wheels to see if their replicas or not, on one of the wheels the lip is slightly oxidized.
