Default I will pay someone to help me put my motor in my 944 (MA, NH area)

I was going to tackle this project myself but it has become necessairy for me to get the car on the road as soon as possible, being how the only experience I have with porsche is getting the old motor out I need some help getting it back in and all set up to go on the road.. I have an 86 944 and going in it is a 944 motor out of an 88... its a direct change so anyone that knows what they are doing please let me know and I'm sure we can work something out... thanks for all your help. I am in Middleton MA.

I'm in Hartford, is why I'm asking. I assume you're in a hurry, otherwise I could help you out when I get a looser weekend. This weekend I drop a new engine into one of my 951.

ohh hartford isn't bad at all... I can wait if you really have that kind of expertice and dont want to charge me TOO much... I've already got a few people that want to come and put some wrench work in but dont really know enough about what they are doing... when would you be able to make it up? I think its like a 2 hour drive from you... let me know ASAP so I dont try to get it going myself and mess it up bad...

Eric, AI'm in the same situation, 'cept I think I know what I'm doing. Have you tried contacting the Tech Chairman of your local PCA club?

He will put you in touch with some guys that have been through what you are going through, and may have affiliations with local Porsche shops that are willing to help you out. It's good business for them, in the furure.

Hope the suggestion helps.

STILL looking for help in the MA/NH area.... I will give up parts from my old motor (Im not sure whats good or not you'll have to check it out) or I can give some money... I dont have much but I really want to get this baby on the road... I was told by someone that the job can be finished and on the road in 5 hours... so hopefully someone can give me an afternoon... I'd really appreciate it.
