Default 944/944S: add your wheel sizes

I'd like to collect what rims can be used for 944s, at least the most popular ones.
Please list yours, including the rim name, car type, year, width, radius, ET (offset), size of wheel spacers needed. I start with mine:

Design 90 --- 944 NA 1986 --- 16" front 7.5J ET65 rear 9J ET52 --- no spacers*

*I might modify that once I take off the wheel and so far hidden spacers surprise me.

Photos down the side of the car showing how they sit relative to the front and rear fenders would be helpful as well.

Won't have mine on my S2 until next week but will then post up the details and pics.

Here they are....refinished and installed - fitment is perfect IMO and exactly the look I was going for on the car, like a 3.piece look but in a 1-piece

Victor Equipment Tsunami - no spacers
F 18x8 et 45 with 235/40-18 Nitto Invo
R 18x9.5 et 49 with 275/35-18 Nitto Invo
I run Invos on my supercharged 997, both my 928s, and now this 944. Cool tread pattern, great dry weather performance, very good wet weather performance, and not crazy expensive. I'll keep buying them for my sports cars as long as they keep making them.

993 Cup II wheels that have been nicely chromed on 944 S. 17 x 7 front, 17 x 9 rear. ET 55. Original "phone dial"s were 15 x 7, 215/60R15, ET 52.

New tires are Riken Raptors (great tires for a great price) 225/45R17 front and 255/40R17 rear. Good clearance all around.

QUESTION: Ok, I went from stock 215/60R15's to 225/45R17 in front and 255/40R17 in rear. LOVE the improvement in handling & grip.......

STOCK air pressure is 29 F, 36 R.

With my wider thinner tires, should I keep the same exact pressure? Or lower each a couple PSI?

Enquiring minds want to know.....

Update: Left rear rubs on the fender lip when I load the rear suspension. Am going to have the car aligned first and see if the camber setting is correct, since the right rear doesn't seem to. If camber is set right, will need to roll or grind down the fender lip. I have an Eastwood fender roller I can use if I decide to go that route.

Got a pic of the car with the wheels out in the sun - looks really nice.

You may need to consider running a tad bit more negative camber in order to reduce rubbing. Running factory settings may not allow those wider wheels to fit.

Yep, that's why I was going to start with alignment and see where we are. Also found it odd that only the Driver's side was rubbing, but I was also the only one in the car, so more weight on that side. One way or another, I'll make these work as I love the stance from the rear and the look of the wheels on the car. Thanks for the suggestion.

BTW, my rears are 275s

Hmmmm......wondering why I'm not getting any rubbing in rear w/255's? No - haven't loaded rear end and don't plan to.....for that very reason.......

Still wondering about tire pressure......????

Depends on your alignment. Small differences (half a degree even) on camber can be the difference between rubbing and not rubbing. Keep in mind that alignment shops arent going to get your camber exactly the same left/right, it could be slightly different by a few tenths. Weight of driver as mentioned. Also, even the same size tire can differ slightly between brands. A 255/45 bridgestone isnt the same as a 255/45 conti.

Even with the same tires/wheels there are many variables that will determine why one person rubs and the other does not.
