Cool Composite Parts For 84 NA

Hey everyone, I've got an 84 NA and I'm making a whole bunch of composite parts for it and I was wondering if anyone was interested on getting their hands on some. I'm happy to make any and all parts, right now I am working on carbon door cards, mirrors, potentially a dash and some other small parts. I make composite parts for a living and I am a little bit of a perfectionist so they will turnout nicely. Photos below are a few examples of my composite parts. Feel free to reach out!

Spinner Fairing

Naca Vents

Control linkage fairing

Nice work !
Do you have access to an autoclave ?

Keep in mind , composite parts are a bit overkill for a 944 ... perhaps good for GT3 Cups where people have more money
than us 944 owners ...

*** edit ***
I'm sure headlight covers might be a popular option, perhaps shifter ***** ?

Cheers
Phil

Those look awesome! I don’t know if you can make them but I’d be interested in composite front and rear bumpers. I watched this YouTube video and have been wanting to find something like it.

not looking to sell these parts just trying to justify making molds and work on my craftsmanship. More than willing to make the parts for free assuming material is paid for which ranges from 10$ per yard and up so relatively cheap

Definitely a part I can make probably a decent lead time to make the mold but once the mold is made its pretty quick to crank out several bumpers

That stuff looks great.

Any chance you could be swayed to make a 968 batwing? Those things are ridiculously scarce and $$$ new.

Cheers

I haven't seen the bat wing you're referring to but it's definitely a part i could think about making.

It's this guy: https://944online.com/968-front-lower-spoiler.html

The 944 parts are also not exactly cheap, new, but there's a lot more of those that were made so you can at least find those more easily.

Cheers

Without the part in hand to pull a mold off of it would be difficult to make a copy, i could potentially design something similar

Thats great news! And looks like some nice work there. I have been hunting for nice composite stuff alot lately, and have not been able to turn up a good source. Definitely interested in your mirrors, I have a set of 968 CS mirrors that I have been putting of changing as I prefer the OE style, just the weight of them is insane for a mirror. What style are you thinking of?

Are there particular parts that have caught your attention that would be great made out of composites? Any good weight reduction pieces?

For me its mostly about weight reduction. I would love to see a carbon sunroof panel as its weight high up, and seems unusually heavy. Do you think it would be difficult to make?

That great. How much do you estimate the cost for mirrors or sunroof will be?
I'd be interested in getting both.
Happy to pay a fair price for good work.

Not really sure, Since I would also be making them for my car probably not too much maybe 200 for the set of mirrors. Maybe 250-300 for the sunroof

How about the front header panel with headlight buckets and 2 vents in the middle?
