Instrument panel screw part no?
Anyone know the part number of the screws that hold the white plastic instrument cluster mounting plate to the back of the instrument cluster housing? They don't appear to be in PET....

Well, as you can see in the far right of the picture, I already have some functional matches in the two outboard positions. Those came from the "hardware store" in my basement.
But I also have OCD, so they need to all match. And the outside hex shape of the Bosch Phillips screws is sort of cool....

Thanks for the offer! I found (and already ordered) these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/VW-Type2-T3...-/173904115881.
But if they don't match I'll give you a holler.
(And if they do match I'll also have some extras if anyone else needs them.)

Since they're on the 928, as well, you can also contact Roger Tyson at 928sRUs; he's pretty good about knowing these things and stocking OEM parts. It sounds like you have it handled, and I'm sure that the regular 944 vendors could get you something similar (or OEM, even) but there seem to be large portions of the 928 community that are really into keeping things as original as possible, so those vendors help support that culture. It may not help in this instance but it's something to keep in mind for the future, if you can't get what you need from 944 land.

Sigh. POs are fickle beasts. Before ordering parts, look in the glove box.
Although I'm at a loss to figure out the "I think these might be better in the glove box than back in the instrument cluster" logic....
