Question Possibility of fitting certain wheel rims on my 1985 Porsche 944

Hello Everyone,

I got a porsche 944 recently with 15" Telephone dial wheels, while they are nice wheels but I am not a fan of them. Therefore I am looking to change my wheels and enlarge them to 17" or 18". The following are the wheels I want to replace to:
1. Porsche Sport Classic BBS 17" (part no. 993.362.124.51)
2. Porsche Sport Classic 2 BBS 18" (part no. 993.362.134.55)

I assume that since these are Porsche wheels that the dimensions for the bolts and PCD is 5x130. I also know that the ET value for these is different as the current wheels I have are ET23 and the Sport Classics are ET 55 or 50. So will it be possible to fir these wheels with different offsets on my 1985 Porsche 944? If yes what all other things do I need to consider in the rim and my car to make sure they fit my car properly.

Sorry if this is a really basic question but I really want those wheels and I feel this is the best place to ask

Thank you all in advance!

Kind Regards,
Sanchit

http://willtheyfit.com/

be advised that Porsche recommends upgrading the caster blocks (the rear hinge of the front control arm) to 968 units to run 17 or larger wheels.

Hi V2Rocket,
Thank you very much for the advice, so for the changes I am looking at are the new caster blocks, I have the following Questions:
1. Will I need spacers or something due to the different offset, if yes then where can I get these spacers?
2. Apart from the caster blocks and spacers (or something else) would I need to make any other changes to the car, or should I consider anything else while selecting these wheels for my 944 (on willtheyfit it doesnt seem like the change would cause a problem)

Thanks for your time and your help!
