1987 944 Cup II tire sizes

Default 1987 944 Cup II tire sizes
Picked up a set of Cup II wheels today. The deal was too good to pass up even though two of them are original Porsche wheels and the other two are Mille Miglia repro wheels.

I have questions on fitment on my 1987 944 with the late offset.

The original Porsche Cup IIs are 7x17" ET55 and the Miglias are 7.5"x17 ET52 - will they fit and what size tires should I get?

225 or 235 will be fine

They'll fit no problem. Porsche put 225/45/17 as a standard tire on both 7 and 7 1/2 inch wheels.

they'll fit no issues... i have front 235 and rear 285 in my rear on an 87 right now with like 50-52 offset so your good, both lips are rolled.
