Los Angeles area need 944 mechanic. I can do the little things, but it looks like my water loss is under timing cover area. Need
944 mechanic to do a water pump, timing belt and a few other items. I am an original owner of an '84 and need help in
keeping my maintenance up. A mechanic in the San Fernando Valley just outside Los Angeles would be best.

Hi Jeff, I'm not on the 944 forum much (I have a 951 and 993) but would encourage you to reach out to 944 enthusiasts (maybe PCA Los Angeles region) for help. The 944 NA is not hard to do if you've done it before and have the tools (which most enthusiasts do and may be happy to help out). While you're in there, I'd also check whether you need a front engine reseal (you've done most of the work anyway - probably an additional hour maybe two). Good luck and I would also post your question in the 924/944/951/968 forum - much more traffic and more people will see your post.
