Default porsche 944 A/C line replacement

Hello, the stock rubber a/c lines on my car starting leaking towards the end of the summer at a rate fast enough to need a recharge every week or so. I just want some clarification on my plan to cut the beadlock ferules off the factory fittings, replace the ferules and re crimp onto some barrier hose. Will this work for hardline side that runs to the firewall? I've included a photo of the hardlines, it looks like the beadlock ferrules can be cut off of both ends of the rubber. Or is there a better technique to attach new rubber to the hardline? Also any source to buy new compressor side fittings in case I mess up?
Thank you for your time

You are on the right path.
I did this myself about 10 years ago no problem.
You can use a cutting wheel on an angle grinder to get through the ferrule and if you're nervous, switch to a hacksaw by hand to finish it off.

Dunno, I had the hydraulic shop put the new stuff on once I gave them bare barbs.
