My early 85 in Norcal
Hey guys, got my 944 about a week ago, been a blast so far. Previous owner had rebuilt the engine, replace starter, alternator, clutch, a lot of the under hood mechanicals.
Biggest upgrade I've made so far was taking off the modern low profile wheels/tires and replacing with a set of Cookie Cutters. Huge ride quality upgrade, and just looks better!
Other things I've done in the last week:
Minutes after I bought it.
Repainted Cookie Cutters
New steering wheel, wheel matches the alu on the center console.

Other things I've done in the last week:
- new steering wheel
- new rear hatch seal
- floormats
- added a switch to turn off the power antenna, so its not when I'm listening to music on my phone
- Took out the 60lb subwoofer in the trunk sold on Craigslist for $100
- Cookie Cutter wheels/Yokohama tires
Minutes after I bought it.

Thanks guys, my first Porsche, and I'm really excited.
Repaired the driver seat bolts. Were super loose, the front left was completely destroyed, nothing holding it down. Ended up drilling through the floor and putting a long bolt to hold it down.
Ordered H4 headlight conversions, previous owner put some LED ones in there that don't work.
And ordered thrust bearings to do the shift linkage mod.
