I hear from 2-3000, but can't verify.

 

One source says 20260, minus MY89 cabs.

 

A bizzilion, I think. It's hard to walk down the street without tripping over one. I wish there was an SCCA class for them, as I think they are neat.

According to section 3.0 of the link below, there were 4,331 S2's brought to the US, over 1/2 of which were cabs.

There are a few question marks for the total S2's produced, but it looks like there were about 14,000 made over a three year period.
