I'm afraid I'm going to miss this year, first time in 11 years I've missed this event. Sadly it falls on my daughters Birthday each time (mostly) and she's been disappointed I wasn't there in the past. This one is her 21st and we all know how important that is.

Just registered and booked a room. Hopefully all in my family will be healthy this time and we won't miss this one.

Kid lives in Mississippi now so it will be a surprise trip. Trying to figure out what to do with the geriatric animals though. It may end up with Angela going on the trip and me staying to baby sit. Plans are not formalized as of yet on that. I do know I can't make 3rd Coast.
I need to know what a great whisky is so I can send a bottle along for ammonman so if anyone has suggestions, please let me know.

Irish whiskey, Bourbon whiskey or Islay Scotch whisky (moderate smoke) are preferred. Never have been a big fan of "legal" Tennessee whiskey and have never sampled Rye. That stuff they strip paint with up in Canada shouldn't be called whiskey or whisky.

SVRA National Championships will be at Circuit of the Americas that weekend, ( actually starting like Thursday) if ya'll are bored... can't be too far- 928's crush pavement and destroy time or something like that...
